Private networks are per-location. For example, a machine in New Jersey cannot communicate with a machine in Chicago.
Private networks only have your machines. You cannot communicate with other customer's machines.
You will need to manually configure your private network connection.
You can use any IP range to your liking on the private network. We assign one IP by default, but you can ignore it and use other ones if you would prefer.
IPv6 is currently available for this server, but a subnet has not yet been assigned.
Note: Your server was originally deployed using one of our installers. If you reinstall the operating system via a custom ISO, the root password in your control panel will no longer be valid.
Change Default Hostname
Change the hostname recognized when this server is installed.
For active servers, you may change the hostname by logging into the OS. We have guides for most platforms.
Warning: Reinstalling the operating system will wipe all the data on your server.
Change Plan
Note: Downgrading is currently not supported. Shrinking the hard disk is not possible without risking data loss.
New Operating System
Warning: Changing to a different operating system will wipe all the data on your server.
Currently Installed: CentOS 8 x64
New Application
Warning: Changing to a different application will wipe all the data on your server.
Currently Installed: CentOS 8 x64
Take Clone
Stored snapshots are currently free - pricing subject to change.
We recommend using DHCP for networking. By default, Vultr instances are configured to use DHCP.
Snapshots can only be restored to equal or bigger disks. If there is a single partition, it will be automatically expanded.

Backups
Enabling backups is an additional $1.00/month. Individual files cannot be restored (only the entire server).
DDOS Protection
Enabling DDOS protection is an additional $10/month.
This can take up to 5 minutes to take effect.
DDOS Protection may interfere with custom DNS settings. Ensure your server is configured to use 108.61.10.10 for recursive DNS.
We are currently experiencing an outage with the Vultr API. Our engineers are working diligently to restore API connectivity. You may experience connectivity issues to the API at this time, however servers that were generated prior to the outage have not been impacted. Payments may be delayed.
